CUSTOMER COMMENTS: We had the misfortune of visting Lastoria Italian Grill & Bar at 577 Washington Street In Stoughton MA on 5/4/02.
We had previously been on two other occasins and had mixed reviews so we were willing to try one more time.
Despite calling ahead we still waited for a table at the upstairs bar where
we had to return a glass of wine that had been poured into a dirty glass. We
were seated at the restaurant's proverbial worst table directly next to the
cash register and restroom entrance but we were still optomistic until the
waitress arrived. As seasoned diners we can understand the bustle and
distraction of a Saturday night dinner out however we were unprepared for the
poor level of service we received. The server was immediately brusque and
annoyed while taking our orders and became obstinant when reminded of
forgotten requests for additional bread.
Our misfortune continued when to our
dismay the manager we would have conveyed our disappointment to turned out to
be the server we were unhappy with!! After confering with the hostess we were
left with no other avenue but to leave without completing our meal.
