CUSTOMER COMMENTS: Abbey Grill is a culinary school and they haven't done enough homework. The children who are in charge of the restaurant are not ready for Prime Time. We went as a party of seven one Saturday Night and had to wait an hour and a half even though we had reservations. My daughter had food spilled down her dress and my son's meal had to be returned because it was rancid.
I wrote to Kathy Karousos who was described to me as the Manager and after several months I have yet to get even the courtesy of a reply.

Customer Comments: I cannot tell you how very much I enjoyed dinner at the Abbey! The food is prepared to perfection, the service is awsome and the drinks and wine list fantastic. I and my daughter had dinner there twice and found the same to be true. So much so that we decided to have her wedding there! I couldn't have been a more perfect wedding the setting was lovely as were the hors douvres the service just perfect! We have since the wedding been back several times and are hoping they can accomodate us for a baby shower! I would recommend it to anyone. My friend who is a european trained chef attended the wedding and said it was the very best food he had ever had at a function.

This restaurant, which was closed for a few years, re-opened over a year ago. The chef, Jim Wurzburger, used to be at Olde Hitching Post and Mount Blue. He is very nice, often in the dining room making sure everything is perfect. Great food with lots of friendly service. Wine list is huge (for the So Sh) and priced very reasonable. Very creative specials. They have a monthly wine dinner which are a lot of fun.

CUSTOMER COMMENTS: I am so happy there is a restaurant at Cataldi's. My husband and I have visited The Bistro on several occasions since its recent opening. On each visit my meals were absolutely delicious. The waitstaff very accommodating. I have recommended The Bistro to all my friends.
I have lived in the Hanson area all my life so I can remember all the wonderful restaurants that have been at this location. I even had my wedding reception at the facility back in 1994.

CUSTOMER COMMENTS: I have enjoyed two incredible occasions at this place. First of all, I enjoyed a beer dinner here hosted by the Old Smuttynose Brewery. This was a lot of fun. Also, I came back for their Sunday brunch and it was excellent. The food and service are terrific. I only wish this place was closer to home.

CUSTOMER COMMENTS; The Cafe Tosca in Hingham is exceptional for luncheons. The creations are ambitious and reasonable and the prices are remarkably reasonable. We sat outside on a pleasant afternoon and enjoyed the genovese salad and a thin crust pizza. Tha salad was amazing and could have easily accommodated four people.

CUSTOMER COMMENTS: This is to let you know how much we love going to the Fairview Restaurant in Marshfield.
We've been going there since they re-opened and have enjoyed everything about the establishment. With a staff so warm, pleasant and conscientious, it's easy to see that they reflect the Fairview's management team of Betty and Paul, who are always very accommodating and attentive. The food, a major component to its success, is delectable. They're always introducing some of the most superb entrees, for which we try most of them, on their specials of the day menu. Of course, their regular daily and bar menus are always great as well.
We've been going there every week and even through their bad times, when business was slow, a spell (very minimal) when the food wasn't up to snuff, the staff always attended you the same pleasant dining experience.
We love to go out and eat at nice restaurants and have tried many in the Boston and South Shore areas. As a result of my husband being the Vice President of Farberware in the Bronx, NY, and having to attend numerous culinary functions, we have been afforded fine dining in Manhattan, as well as many top resorts in the US and we consider the Fairview our Manhattan experience here.
