FORT FOSTER
Kittery Point, Maine

Origianaally built in 1900 as a military coastal protection facility in use 'til the end of world war 2. Deemed obsolete in 1947 it was sold to the town of Kittery to be used as a public recreation area. This park is a "Hidden Jewel".

Amenities include:
Windwurfers beach, Scuba beach, Sandy beach.
560 ft. Fishing Pier with great views of surounding vistas.

DIRECTIONS
Route I-95 to exit #2 and go to rotary
At rotary take Rte 236 S Becomes Rte 103. Follow 3.4 miles. Take Right on Chauncey Creek Rd.
Follow 0.4 m take Right on Pocahontas. Just over bridge take Right and follow signs to Fort Foster Gate House

* No hunding or firearms allowed
* No alchoholic beverages allowed
* Dogs must be on leach at all times
* If you bring it in, you must bring it out. Remove all waste from park
