CUSTOMER COMMENTS: A very pleasant place to have dinner. Unfortunately they are very inconsistent in the way the food is prepared. Seafood is pre frozen and thawed imprperly resulting in mushy, watery fish.
Two of the four in our party ordered swordfish. One was jelly in center and watery, the other was rubbery well done. We told the waitress we didn't want the fish if it was frozen. When we confronted her, she said she was told to tell us it was Fresh-frozen. The other enrees of schrod were fine but the french fries were soggy. We asked f0r replacements but we were told they would be the same so please order baked or rice.
The place was packed on an eaarly Wednesday eve, so I guiess it doesn/t matter about the food quality to some peaple.

. CUSTOMER COMMENTS: Overcooked linguini, salty tomato sauce, and watery fish chowder. If you bring these things to the owners attention you are guaranteed to be greeted by a surly waitress on your next visit. That is what happpened to us on our FINALvisit.

CUSTOMER COMMENTS: Probably one of the finest restaurants on the North Shore, bar none. Great drinks, great food, nice salad bar, outstanding service from a very well
trained and experienced waitstaff. They have table clothes and linen napkins!!!
The bar is well staffed and service is prompt. Soon it will be non-smoking which will be delightful. There is a bar menu with less expensive choices which are very filling.....One of my favorites is the sliced sirloin, which is served on toast points with a delicious garlic sauce. Fireplaces that add nice ambience to the entire scene and a great sitting area in the bar. Try it.

CUSTOMER COMMENTS: One would think that after fifty years in business, they would know how to regulate the heat in their pizza oven. Sometimes its burnt on edges but raw in the middle. Our first trip was great. Our subsequent 2 trips we're a mess. Wake up you guys. Consistantcy counts.

AND we have never had a bad meal at spuds!
if you want a no-frills meal go here; buff wings and steak tips dinner is
the best.
Too bad they cut the bar in half, it was a cool place to have a brew
and a steak; now it's rather small... but the restaurant is still churning
out good meals!

CUSTOMER COMMENTS: I agree with other comments about Spud's. We've never had a bad meal there and the prices seem to be in line or a little less than other places. And, Wednesday nights are senior citizen nights, which makes it even better for us.

CUSTOMER COMMENTS: My friends and I were very happy with the quality of food at Tequila's, as well as the service and the drinks. It's all new inside, which is a
plus. The drinks were great; they were huge! The food isn't your
run-of-the-mill Mexican/Southwestern, it was really refreshing to NOT get the same old same old. I got the chicken chimichangas and they were
excellent. There's also live music and line dancing; we've seen a couple of the
bands but haven't done the line dancing. The entertainment was great.
(They have both rock bands and country bands). We'll be going back.
